Our Rooms
Ladybird Room (12 months -3's)
Our Ladybird Room provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 12 months to 3 years, where they can explore, play and learn at their own pace. The room is carefully designed to support all seven areas of learning, offering rich and varied experiences that promote every aspect of a child’s development.
Children have access to continuous provision throughout the day, including sand and water play, messy play, construction, puzzles, role play and a cosy reading area where they can relax and enjoy stories. All resources and activities are age-appropriate, carefully chosen to encourage curiosity, independence and early learning skills in a fun and engaging way.
Our Ladybird Room is a mixed-age environment, which provides wonderful learning opportunities for all children. The younger children, including our babies, benefit greatly from observing and interacting with older peers. This supports their language development, social skills and confidence, as they hear rich vocabulary, copy actions and learn from positive role modelling throughout the day.
We provide a balance of both adult-led and child-led activities to enhance learning experiences. Adult-led sessions support key skills such as communication, early maths and physical development, while child-led play encourages independence, creativity and exploration.
Children enjoy daily access to both indoor and outdoor learning environments, allowing them to move freely between spaces and extend their learning in different ways. Our carefully planned routine ensures children feel secure, engaged and happy throughout the day.
Our Early Years Educators create a warm, inclusive and inspiring environment where every child is supported to thrive, develop confidence and build strong foundations for their future learning journey.

Preschool (3-4's)
In our Preschool room, we focus on preparing children for their transition to school by helping them develop confidence, independence and a positive routine that reflects a school day. Children are encouraged to learn through both independent exploration and group learning, supporting them to become confident in working alongside others, sharing ideas and taking part in structured activities.
Our carefully planned environment is rich in opportunities that support all areas of learning. Resources are stored at child height, enabling children to make independent choices in their play and learning. We believe that learning should be fun, engaging and meaningful, and our provision is designed to spark curiosity and promote active learning throughout the day.
Independence and self-care skills are a key focus in Preschool. Children are supported and encouraged to take responsibility for themselves, including self-registering, putting on shoes, washing hands and developing confidence with toilet independence. These daily routines help to build self-esteem, resilience and a strong sense of achievement.
We introduce early phonics through letter sounds, supporting children’s early reading and writing development. Alongside this, we focus on name recognition and early mark-making and letter formation during focused group times. Children also take part in engaging adult-led sessions to build their communication, listening and attention skills.
Our Preschool children have daily access to outdoor learning, allowing them to explore, investigate and develop physically both inside and outside the classroom. This helps to extend their learning in a variety of environments and encourages active, hands-on experiences.
Our Early Years Educators create a stimulating, welcoming and well-planned environment where every child is supported to learn at their own pace. Children are encouraged to be independent learners, with caring adults alongside them to guide, support and celebrate each stage of their journey as they prepare for school.

Sleep Room
Our sleep room offers a calm, safe and soothing environment where children can rest and recharge throughout the day. Designed to promote relaxation and comfort, the room features beautiful fairy forest backdrops and soft fairy lights, creating a gentle and peaceful atmosphere that helps children feel secure and settled at sleep time.
We provide cots for babies and low-level beds for children aged 2 years and over, ensuring that each child rests safely and appropriately for their age and stage of development. All sleep arrangements follow Safer Sleep guidance, and children are always closely supervised by our caring practitioners.
We recognise the importance of rest in supporting healthy growth and development. Our team follows each child’s individual sleep routine, offering reassurance, comfort and consistency so that every child feels safe, cared for and supported.
Our sleep room is a quiet, nurturing space where children can relax fully, helping them wake refreshed, happy and ready to continue their learning and play.
Group time room
Our Group Time Room is a calm and focused learning space where children take part in small group, adult-led activities that support their next steps in development. This room is used for more structured learning experiences, allowing practitioners to work closely with children in smaller groups to provide targeted support and high-quality interactions.
Here, children begin to develop key early skills in phonics, writing and mathematics through fun, engaging and purposeful activities. Sessions are carefully planned to match each child’s stage of development, helping them to build confidence, concentration and a love of learning.
The smaller group setting allows children to receive more individual attention, encouraging them to share ideas, listen to others and actively take part in discussions. This supports their communication and language development, as well as their ability to focus and engage in more structured learning.
We also use our classroom alongside this space for group learning, but the Group Time Room provides an even more focused environment where children can deepen their understanding and build important school readiness skills.
Our Early Years Educators ensure that all activities are fun, interactive and meaningful, helping children to grow in confidence and prepare for the next stage of their learning journey.
